POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  

Education:   Paraprofessional Certification Training that meets NCLB requirements
                      OR minimum two years of study at institution of higher learning (48 college hours) and/or Associate Degree required.

Experience: Educational Aide experience preferred

Licenses/Other: Eligible for state Paraprofessional Certification or such alternatives as may be acceptable to the district. Documentation of Highly Qualified status.

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:

 

•  Assist individual student with written assignments when possible.
•  Monitor all student activities and maintain order and discipline
•  Notifies appropriate personnel when students are assigned and complete their I.S.S. time.
•  Keep administrators informed of any special needs or problems of individual students.
•  Other duties as assigned by the principal.
