POSITION REQUIREMENTS:     

     Education: BA/BS     

     Experience: Teaching experience preferred     

     Licenses/Other: Appropriate Texas Certification (Bilingual) or such alternatives as ESL certification may be acceptable to the district. 

 

Provide students with appropriate instruction in Reading/Language Arts to help students fullfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth as needed. 

 

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:

• Design lessons and units with sequential content incorporating a variety of techniques and materials;
• Establishes a learning atmosphere which enhances students subject matter competency and student self image;
• Works cooperatively with faculty, staff and administration;
• Works to improve professional competency;
• Oversees appropriate LPAC and TELPAS responsibilities;
• Other duties as assigned.
